Renzia is a contractor doing odd jobs around The Darklands, at least that’s what his hand-written business cards say. Calling him a contractor is a disservice to the contractors of The Darklands. Actually, he does just enough work to pay for his food, his booze, and a place to sleep when the weather’s bad - and not necessarily in that order. Most people pass Renzia off as a lazy vagabond with no ambition - and, well - they’re right. Though, despite his lesser qualities, he has an aura about him that naturally draws people to him in times of great need.

Renzia is drawn into the situation with Anea as she has sent for him to guide her and the survivors of the caravan massacre secretly to Burgonne. Though he is not looked upon as dependable, he and Anea are close friends, and she trusts him completely. Also, he knows the region better than anyone.

What is it that brings people to him in their darkest hour? Beats the hell outta him - he just wishes people would stop bothering him so he can get through his two day work week - the guy has sleeping to do!
