Brin is the youngest child of the prestigious Nelholm Family of Burgonne. He is the only member of the family without a high station in Burgonne, hoping that becoming a Silver Guardian will lead him to glory and do his family proud.

Unlike the rest of his family, Brin is truly noble and cares about the the plight of common people as well as the poor. Outsiders, however regard him as just another Nelholm and assume he is just as underhanded and self-serving as the rest of his family. He has been partnered with Endra for their current mission to the Darklands and is anxious for the chance to prove himself.
