Once heralded as one of the greatest knights of the Mursai Empire, now a mere wandering Ronin. Before the advent of The Curse, Loem was a Spectral Knight in The Circle of Guardians — Mursai’s famed elite unit of warriors under the direct command of the Monolith of Mursai. 

A personal matter between he and the Monolith led to Loem leaving the knights. After leaving The Circle of Guardians, he roamed the lands of Mursai as a ronin, working and helping where he could. Then came the fated night, The Last Sunset. As darkness began to blacken the skies, he rushed back to the capital city to aid his former comrades, albeit too late.

To this day, he carries the guilt and shame of not being able to save his homeland and the people he swore to protect, even feeling personally responsible for the state of the land he swore to protect - now known as The Darklands.
