Anea is the last Arauran, a secret known to most of the inhabitants of Fenzwell - a secret they take great pride in guarding. Being forced to grow up almost completely alone in The Darklands, she has become both resourceful and tremendously powerful. When she was just two years old, in order to survive the Vanishing of Araura, her family was forced to flee to the Kingdom of Valden in the Mursai Empire. Seven years later, during the Final Sunset, Anea’s mother and father left her with her older brother to aid The Circle of Guardians to repel the coming doom. The Curse swept over Mursai, destroying the mighty empire in a single night. Her parents never returned.

Now she finds herself in yet another desperate situation, as the fearsome assassin, Omaku Higaro has her marked as his next target - but why?
