As Anea and Renzia make their way through the unforgiving Darklands, they find themselves in the town of Wendros. Upon their arrival, Anea begins to suspect that there is history between the citizens of Wendros and Renzia. The people seem to resent him more than she is used to seeing as his carefree and aloof demeanor becomes more dismissive and quiet. As if the unknown tensions weren’t bad enough, they seem to have arrived in the middle of a volatile situation involving a kidnapping in the community. Can they help resolve the crisis before a bad situation escalates into something much worse?
